Radiologic Technologist – Mammography

Job Overview

We are seeking a Licensed Radiologic Technologist with experience in Mammography and Breast Ultrasound to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring accurate results, patient safety, and a comfortable patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mammography procedures following established clinical and safety protocols.
• Assist with and/or perform breast ultrasound examinations as qualified and assigned.
• Prepare and properly position patients for imaging procedures.
• Explain procedures clearly to patients and provide appropriate assistance throughout the examination.
• Ensure the quality and completeness of mammography and breast imaging studies.
• Follow proper radiation safety and infection control practices.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Operate and perform basic checks of mammography and ultrasound equipment.
• Report equipment issues and coordinate with the appropriate personnel for maintenance or repairs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized imaging area.
• Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Perform other related duties that may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Must be a Licensed Radiologic Technologist (RRT).
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in Mammography and Breast Ultrasound.
• Knowledge of proper imaging techniques, patient positioning, and safety protocols.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient-oriented, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a clinical environment.
• Computer literate and able to maintain accurate documentation.
• Willingness to perform other related duties as needed.

Preferred Skills:

• Hands-on experience with mammography equipment and breast imaging procedures.
• Familiarity with breast ultrasound procedures and workflow.
• Ability to work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare staff.
