Radiologic Technologist - Per Diem, Variable Shift

Job Summary: Operates x-ray equipment to produce diagnostic radiographs as ordered by physicians.

Responsibilities: Positions and instructs patients, adjusts equipment, determines proper voltage, and sets exposure times. Performs screening procedures, prepares examination rooms and equipment, ensures patient safety, produces images, documents exam info, and reports findings to physicians. Verifies exams on PACS and performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Required ARRT-R certification and radiologic tech license in the state of practice (CA and HI).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Fluoroscopy license required in CA within 6 months of hire.
• Preferred associate's degree in radiologic technology.

Skills & Requirements: Knowledge of imaging procedures, patient positioning, equipment handling, and safety protocols. Ability to explain procedures and answer patient questions. Commitment to safety and compliance with vaccination policies.

Adherent to facility-specific licensing requirements and organizational policies.
