Radiologic Technologist - PRN

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our Urgent Care medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations using X-ray to assist in the diagnosis of patients. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare/urgent care environment with exposure to various medical imaging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct X-ray imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocol.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and ensures their comfort and safety during exams.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring quality control standards are met.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to interpret imaging results.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to patients' confidentiality guidelines.
• Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols during procedures.

Requirements

• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) holding RT-R certification.
• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology from accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• High School diploma
• Previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist of more than 2 years or more is preferred.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Possess excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of EHR Systems.

Pay: $30.00 per hour
