Shift: Day Shift, Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) for a 13-week contract opportunity in Grass Valley, California. The ideal candidate will have experience performing diagnostic imaging procedures, operating radiology and CT equipment, and maintaining patient safety throughout the imaging process. Experience with Siemens and GE CT equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic and CT imaging procedures according to physician orders.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the process to help ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Operate radiology and CT equipment safely and effectively.
• Perform imaging procedures using appropriate positioning and imaging techniques.
• Assist with fluoroscopy procedures as required.
• Evaluate images for quality and completeness before submitting them for interpretation.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and minimize unnecessary radiation exposure.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain imaging equipment and report technical issues when necessary.
• Follow infection-control procedures and established patient-safety standards.

Required Certifications

• BLS Certification – Required
• Certified CT Technologist – ARRT (CT) Verification Required
• Certified Radiologic Technologist – ARRT (R) Verification Required
• Fluoroscopy Certification – Required

Must-Have Experience & Skills

• Knowledge of diagnostic radiography and CT imaging procedures.
• Ability to operate imaging equipment and follow established protocols.
• Strong patient positioning and image-quality assessment skills.
• Knowledge of radiation safety practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Preferred: Experience with Siemens and GE CT equipment.

• Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Workdays: Monday–Thursday
