RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST (RADTECH)

About the role

Radiography role involving preparation of radiography equipment, positioning patients, and obtaining optimal images for diagnosis. The role requires close adherence to physician instructions, preventive maintenance monitoring, and proper handling of machines and equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare radiography equipment, position patients, and obtain optimal images for diagnosis
• Proper handling of machines and equipment used
• Monitor preventive maintenance by service provider
• Closely follow physician instructions
• Display preventive steps to avoid unnecessary exposure to radiation
• Communicate calmly, compassionately, and professionally with all different types of patients including the elderly, ailing, and handicapped
• Report abnormal x-ray findings to the requesting physician when necessary
• Adhere to the Company's health and safety standards
• Release accurate results to the patient and maintain patient confidentiality
• Ensure availability of x-ray supplies, requisition and consumption, and prepare necessary monthly reports

• Able to perform work assignment with minimum need for supervision and guidance
