JOB DESCRIPTION

Senior Radiologic Technologist is responsible for the smooth operation of the Radiology Section assigned. He/she helps the Chief Radiologic Technologist to provide leadership and direction to Radiologic Technologist in accordance with organizational mission, vision and goals. He/she ensures quality patient care through conformance to standard policies and procedures.

• Lead and supervise Radiology Department staff and operations.
• Conduct staff performance evaluations and provide coaching.
• Manage work schedules, staffing, and leave planning.
• Prepare departmental reports, budgets, and equipment inventories.
• Ensure high-quality patient care and service excellence.
• Prepares every patient for radiological procedure by:

Positioning

Immobilization

Moving of equipment into specified position

Adjust controls to set exposure factors

Contrast materials needed for the procedure

Review and evaluates computed generated images of all patients after procedure to ensure that the quality of radiologic images is reliable for diagnostic purposes.

Ensures proper operation of all radiologic equipment’s and accessories.

Monitor all handled patients during examination, ensuring their safety and following the standard procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation.

Rotates to the different section of the Radiology Department as designated.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be a Registered Radiologic Technologist (PRC License Holder)
• At least 1 to 2 years of related experience
• Must have a CT Scan experience
