Radiology Technician/MRI Technologist SATURDAYS ONLY

Phoenix Ortho Injury Spine & Extremity, a multi-disciplinary practice, is actively seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist in our Stone Mountain location. We are offering a PRN position with company benefits.

Position Details:

• Title: Radiologic Technologist/MRI Tech
• 1 years of relevant experience.
• Location: West Midtown, GA
• Pay Rate: $28-$30 per hour.
• Hours: Saturdays 8-1
• Certification Required: Active ARRT & XRT License (preferred)
• MRI Experience: Required

Radiologic Technologist/ MRI Tech duties and responsibilities

• Follow instructions from Physicians regarding which area of the patient's body needs imaging
• Talk the patient through the procedure and answer questions to lower their anxiety
• Correctly position the patient, adjust the imaging equipment to the specified position
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure both to themselves and to the patient
• Follow correct techniques and procedures such as patient shielding
• Keep good patient records
• Maintain radiology supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating future needs and placing orders
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment
• Other office related duties if needed

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited X-ray Technician program

• Valid certification as an X-ray Technician

• MRI imaging experience.

• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology

• Proficiency in medical terminology

• Experience with diagnostic evaluation techniques

• Familiarity with medical imaging software and equipment

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
