Radiology Technologist

Responsibilities

• Performed diagnostic radiographic examinations using PACS (Efferent) systems while maintaining accurate patient records in EMR and PAC
• Reviewed clinical information with physicians and staff, prepared imaging rooms, and explained procedures to patients to ensure a smooth examination proces
• Positioned patients according to protocol, adjusted imaging equipment, and modified techniques as needed to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Ensured radiation safety compliance by minimizing patient exposure and adhering to established safety standards
• Assisted with patient transfers and evaluated image quality prior to archiving, while coordinating requests for patient imaging records

Qualifications

• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Licensed in Delaware
• Proficient in Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) operations
