Radiology Technologist

SIGN ON BONUS- $2,000.00

The Vein & Vascular Institute of Tampa Bay is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist for our high volume Outpatient Surgical Suite in Lutz, FL.

The applying candidate will provide C-arm assistance to the vascular surgeon while performing minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment of vascular conditions. Support the overall day to day functions of the operating room with the end goal of providing professional, high level, surgical care and ensuring patient safety and satisfaction while adhering to regulatory standards.

Duties and responsibilities

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

· Ensuring operating room is prepped and ready for the day.

· Operating specialized imaging equipment to produce high-quality angiography imaging during the procedure.

· Assists in positioning and adjusting equipment to ensure optimal visualization.

· Responsible for knowledge of EMR software, data entry, and operation reports

· Accountable for knowledge of Vascular procedures, scheduling, and time requirements

· Demonstrate confidence and professional bedside manner while prepping patient and table for surgery.

· Displays ability and knowledge of proper and sterile surgical techniques during procedures, identifies, and corrects any breaks in technique

· Understands proper OSHA medical waste and incident protocols.

· Properly clean and reset all equipment during and at the end of the day.

· Restock and clean operating room for upcoming days.

· Perform equipment maintenance and checks daily and inform supervisor with any equipment malfunctions.

· Communicate with manager for additional duties daily.

· May provide other duties as assigned

Working conditions

Including but not limited to a 40+ hour work week with potential for overtime work on evenings and Saturdays. Travel between multiple office locations is required for this position. Prolonged standing with lead, constant, and fast paced work flow with high attention to detail.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
