Radiology Technologist - PRN

Role Overview: This position involves performing and evaluating CT scans and radiologic procedures while ensuring patient safety and quality imaging.

• Key Responsibilities: Verify and clarify orders with Radiologists, properly identify and prepare patients, obtain medical histories, and document procedures.
• Administer IV contrast as per protocols, evaluate image quality, and recognize abnormal anatomy.
• Assist during invasive procedures, practice sterile techniques, and follow radiation safety standards.
• Respond to emergencies, support patient care, and operate radiology equipment accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and ensure proper documentation of procedures and contrast use.
• Collaborate with other medical personnel and adhere to safety, fire, and infection control policies.
• Operate computer systems for order entry, charging, and documentation.

Qualifications & Skills: Must have ARRT certification in Radiology or Nuclear Medicine, with advanced registry in CT within one year. BLS certification required. Demonstrates knowledge of patient growth and development, with the ability to handle physical demands involved in patient care and equipment operation.
