Rail Engineering Management - Senior/Technician (Mainline/Project)

Primary Objectives of Position

• Performing maintenance of the AFC equipment to ensure that the safety, reliability and availability of the systems meet the standards.
• Maintain Transit Link Ticketing Kiosk (TUK) as an outsource contractor and ensure all the works are accordance to requirements.
• Assist to implement LTA AFC project for renewal and replacement.

Major Responsibilities

• To liaise with contractors for the modification works to be done at NEL/DTL/SPLRT stations and Depot.
• To perform preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance to the work instructions and procedure.
• To ensure fast response in clearing system faults and carrying out repair service works.
• To maintain Transit Link TUK to requirements and report monthly for compliance.
• To perform any Engineering work or tasks as being assigned by Supervisor.
• To maintenance a good waste management for sustainability.

The above activities are no means exhaustive and are subjected to amendment whenever is needed.

Specific Safety Responsibilities

• To ensure Safety plans are implemented and all safety hazards are eliminated

Job Specifications

Minimum Education / Qualifications

• Possess a Higher Nitec in Electronics/Information Technology or Nitec in Electronics (Computer Technology)/info-communication Technology.

Minimum Years of Relevant Experience

• Preferably at least 3 years of working experience in Mechanical/Electronic/Electrical Engineering System.

Knowledge/Skills

• Possess good network knowledge.
