1.Carry out ultrasonic rail flaw detection inspections in accordance with railway maintenance standards and inspection procedures.
2.Assist in identifying, reporting and recording rail defects to ensure the safe operation of the railway.
3.Support preventive inspection programmes and follow up on defect rectification activities.
4.Operate and maintain rail flaw detection equipment in accordance with company procedures.
5.Prepare inspection records and technical reports accurately and in a timely manner.
6.Comply with company safety procedures and applicable railway maintenance standards.
7.Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
