The Opportunity

Pilbara Rail Maintenance Pty Ltd (PRM) is seeking experienced Rail Technicians / Track Labourers to join our growing Pilbara operations.

In this role, you will support the delivery of rail maintenance, renewals, and construction works across major heavy-haul rail networks. Working within a team environment, you will assist with a variety of track maintenance activities while contributing to safe, efficient, and high-quality project outcomes.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform general labour duties associated with railway construction, maintenance, and repair
• Operate specialised track maintenance equipment and hand tools safely and effectively
• Assist with rail adjusting, destressing, and verse testing and ballast train activities
• Conduct pre-start checks on vehicles, machinery, and equipment
• Participate in daily pre-starts, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and safety activities
• Maintain compliance with PRM and client safety, operational, and environmental procedures
• Work safely in physically demanding and remote rail environments

What You’ll Bring

• A current Australian HR-class driver’s licence
• A current Construction Induction Card (white card)
• The ability to pass a Category 1 Rail Medical, including drug and alcohol screening
• Minimum Certificate II in Rail Infrastructure
• Certificate III in Rail Infrastructure or Civil Construction will be highly regarded
• At least one year of experience in track maintenance, rail renewals, rail construction or a similar labouring role
• A strong commitment to safety and teamwork
• The ability to work in physically demanding conditions and extreme temperatures
