Our client is seeking Rail Yard Operators to join their team in Perth. We have both part-time and full-time contracts on offer. There is also a potential to move into full-time permanent opportunity as they become available.

The Role:
Working as part of the yard operations team, you'll assist with the safe and efficient running of the yard. Duties include:

• Supporting general rail yard operation
• Follow all instructions associated with train movements, in, out and around the yard
• Supporting in the delivery of maintenance schedules
• Adhere to all policies and procedures
• Adhering to the timetables for tabled services, as well as adhering to the scheduled maintenance, and cleaning schedules
• General maintenance and upkeep on the train
• Undertake other ad hoc duties as required

You'll need:

• Flexibility to work predominantly night shifts
• Availability for adhoc shifts
• A strong commitment to safety
• A positive, can-do attitude
• Good reliability and attendance
• Physical fitness and willingness to work in an operational environment
• A genuine interest in developing within the rail industry
