Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, food handling, and meal preparation. As a Cook, you will be responsible for assisting in restaurant and catering operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation while adhering to food safety and dietary guidelines.

Duties:

• Collaborate with the Head Chef or kitchen manager to complete tasks on the prep list
• Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and sorting fruits, vegetables, and meats
• Measure quantities of seasonings and cooking ingredients accurately
• Assist in parboiling food, reducing sauces, and initiating dish preparations
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness by washing dishes, utensils, and cookware, disposing of trash.
• Adhere to nutrition and sanitary standards at all times
• Monitor ingredient inventory and coordinate with kitchen staff for restocking

You will be responsible for setting up the prep station, stocking inventory, and maintaining sanitation standards. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and multitasking skills. Ultimately, you will play an essential role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and restaurant growth.
