Ranch Foreman

JOB STATEMENT: We are seeking a Ranch Foreman to coordinate and oversee daily ranch and farming operations at our Winters location. This position serves as a key point of contact for management and requires strong leadership, organization, communication, and decision-making skills. The ideal candidate will have extensive farming experience, specifically with almond and pistachio crops, and the ability to effectively direct employees, contractors, and seasonal crews. The successful candidate will be hands-on, safety minded, and capable of making sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties:

• Plan, implement, and manage ranch operations in accordance with company priorities and goals
• · Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
• · Oversee daily gathering and processing of timesheets
• · Identify and resolve operational problems as they arise
• · Coordinate day-to-day orchard operations throughout the growing season, including: (depending on season)
• o Irrigation Scheduling
• o Monitoring/Coordinating with Pest Control Advisor (PCA)
• o Pest Management
• o Moisture Monitoring
• o Coordinating harvesting operations
• o Manage personnel via Farm Labor Contractors/Staffing Agencies
• o Approving and monitoring all invoices
• o Maintaining operations within established budgets
• · Manage harvest operations, including logistics and movement of harvested fruit to the appropriate destination.
• · Work with Shop to repair and maintain all ag equipment
• · Maintain and organize equipment, tools, and supplies.
• · Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Clean DMV Record
• Fluent in Spanish
• Experience with almond crops
• Previous agricultural supervisory or farm experience required

Pay: $65,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
