Ranch Hand / General Labour

• identifying and treating sick cattle

• sorting, gathering, moving cattle with ATV or horse

• feeding cattle with silage wagon and bale shredder (winter)

• basic farm maintenance - fencing, repairing facilities, maintaining water bowls,

• some yard work - mowing lawns, yard cleanup, weed whacking

• basic machinery maintenance

• starting in spring with potential to go year round for the right person

• must have licence, good English and be able to work on a team or independently. Must have cattle and some machinery experience.

• Accommodations NOT included. Willing to contribute towards rent for the right person.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $18.00-$28.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Ponoka, AB T4J 1R4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• cattle: 3 years (required)
