About the role

Special Equipment Development Officer (R&D) responsible for controlling the production of various sewing assistance equipment from templates using CNC Milling machines to ensure completeness, accuracy, and speed. The role includes maintaining CNC Milling machines and various equipment to ensure readiness for use, and delivering sewing assistance equipment that is complete, accurate, and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Control production of sewing assistance equipment using CNC Milling machines
• Ensure equipment production is complete, accurate, and delivered on time
• Maintain and service CNC Milling machines and related equipment
• Ensure equipment readiness for operational use

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Home Economics with Fashion Design and Textile specialisation, or related field
• English language skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing
• Ability to create non-complex electronic circuits
• Knowledge and understanding of programming
• Proficiency with design software such as Solidwork, ZW3D, AutoCAD, or Gerber (preferred)
• Knowledge and understanding of patterns and sewing procedures
