Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and creative R&D Executive - Cosmetics to join our Research & Development team

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing innovative cosmetic formulations that align with global trends, regulatory standards, and client expectations

This role requires both technical knowledge and a passion for creating exceptional personal care products

Key Responsibilities:

• Research, develop, and formulate new cosmetic products including creams, lotions, serums, face masks, cleansers, and more
• Conduct stability and compatibility testing to ensure product quality and safety
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and marketing
• Analyze raw materials for suitability and compatibility in formulation
• Maintain detailed documentation of formulations, test results, and product revisions
• Stay updated with the latest trends, ingredients, and regulations in the cosmetic industry
• Assist in scaling formulations from lab to production scale
• Ensure compliance with BIS, FDA, and international cosmetic regulatory standards

Qualifications: Education / Certifications:

• B

  Sc / M

  Sc in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, or related field

• Additional certifications in cosmetic formulation or dermatological sciences are a plus

Hard Skills:

• Knowledge of cosmetic ingredients and formulation techniques
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and processes
• Understanding of GMP, ISO, and regulatory guidelines for cosmetic products
• Experience with formulation software is advantageous

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
• Creative mindset with a passion for innovation
• Effective communication and team collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines

Preferred Experience:

• 2-5 years of experience in cosmetic or personal care product formulation
• Experience working in a private label or contract manufacturing setup is preferred
• Exposure to international cosmetic standards (eg EU, US FDA) is beneficial
