R&D Electrical Design Engineer - DCBU

Job Summary:

• Participate in hardware design by assisting in development and debugging on power electronics hardware for DC/DC power module in AI, datacenter, GPU and CPU application. Candidate will have opportunity to work closely with world class customers from USA, Europe and China.

Your main role is to:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the Thailand factory and RD center in China.
• Design and develop DC/DC power modules and power supply products.
• Support MP/NPI production, resolving issues related to materials, ATS functions, and burn-in (BI) testing.
• Evaluate and qualify second-source electronic components according to test guidelines.
• Address customer inquiries and technical issues in a timely manner.
• Conduct failure analysis (FA) on RMA units, identify root causes, and generate FA reports.
• Manage BOM, design documentation, and drive design and cost optimization.

Who are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, master's degree in Electrical/Electronic or related fields preferred.

• More than 3 years of working experience as an Electrical/Power Engineer in SMPS application.

• Experience in DC/DC or AC/DC power supply related industries.

• Abilities in problem analysis and solving, eager to learn

• Proficient in using relevant instruments in the hardware laboratory

Strong technical background in the field of:

• Circuit Analysis, Power Converter, Control theory
• Troubleshooting & analyzing technical problem
• Verbal and written communications skills in English.
• Able to travel oversees China.
• Knowledge of AC/DC and DC/DC control method and topology.
• Verbal and written communications skills in English.
• Chinese proficiency is a plus.
