R&D Engineer

工作职责:

Responsibilities

• Participate in or lead engineering activities for new product development projects using the IRPDP process. Work closely with product managers, project managers, and cross-functional teams to meet product requirements and quality, delivery, and cost targets through:
• Conduct feasibility studies and develop concept designs
• Develop and validate prototypes and design concepts
• Execute engineering builds and complete design validation
• Support manufacturing builds and production ramp-up
• Participate in or lead engineering activities related to new technology research and implementation projects, including:
• Research and evaluation of new technologies
• Assessment of technical readiness and technical understanding levels
• Conduct feasibility studies and define concept approaches
• Prototype and concept validation
• Support business growth through additional engineering initiatives, including:
• Application-based solutions
• Localization
• i2V
• Quality improvement
• Optimize engineering and development processes to reduce defects and improve quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• At least seven years of experience in pump development. Experience in the petrochemical industry is preferred. Design experience with positive displacement pumps would be an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree or above in mechanical engineering, fluid mechanics, hydraulics, thermodynamics, or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes, including casting, machining, forging, and welding.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and/or thermodynamic calculations would be a plus.
• Abilities in modeling and simulation (FEA, CFD, rotor dynamics, etc.) are a plus.
• Good data management and analytical skills.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills, with the ability to participate effectively in technical discussions.
• Knowledge of Lean tools, DFMEA, and Six Sigma tools is a plus.
