This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys combining hands-on product design, AutoCAD/SolidWorks, manufacturing, tooling, and direct customer interaction. You will transform customer concepts and requirements into manufacturable products while ensuring designs meet performance, quality, cost, and production objectives.
Key Responsibilities

- Work directly with customers to understand requirements and ensure design and specification compliance.
- Conduct product and manufacturing feasibility assessments.
- Develop, build, test, and validate prototypes.
- Design and develop tooling packages and oversee tooling procurement, commissioning, and qualification.
- Perform product sizing and capacity calculations for new designs.
- Develop and maintain engineering drawings, product specifications, and technical documentation.
- Manage customer specifications, revision control, and product lifecycle documentation.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing and product-design challenges.
- Support continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and existing product designs.
- Inspect and verify GD&T using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, profilers, and CMM equipment.
- Partner closely with customers, manufacturing, operations, quality, and engineering teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 2+ years of related engineering experience.
- Strong AutoCAD and SolidWorks proficiency.
- Strong engineering drawing and product design experience.
- Knowledge of GD&T and dimensional inspection techniques.
- Experience translating customer requirements into manufacturable designs.
- Strong customer-facing communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Ideal background: Product design, new product development, tooling, packaging, or high-volume manufacturing.
