R&D Engineer (Commercial Product Development)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new products based on market requirements.
• Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and BOM.
• Support prototype preparation and new model development.
• Conduct product testing and analyse results to ensure quality and performance.
• Investigate technical issues and propose improvement solutions.
• Prepare technical documents and presentations for design reviews.
• Coordinate with related departments throughout the product development process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
• New graduates are welcome; 2–3 years of experience in product development or testing is an advantage.
• Good command of English; Japanese language skills are a plus.
• Knowledge of air conditioning systems or HVAC products is preferred.
• Familiar with CAD software (e.g., Solid Edge, SolidWorks, NX, AutoCAD).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
