R&D Engineer (IoT & Software)

Software Tester (R&D Software IoT)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Software Tester to join our R&D Software IoT team. In this role, you will be involved in software and IoT product testing, working closely with developers and cross-functional teams to ensure software quality, functionality, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute test cases for software, mobile applications, and IoT-related systems.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, usability, and UI/UX testing.
• Identify, analyze, and report software defects using tools such as Jira or similar platforms.
• Collaborate with developers and R&D teams to investigate and resolve software issues.
• Perform API testing and basic database verification using tools such as Postman and SQL.
• Support test automation using tools such as Selenium or Appium.
• Test applications across iOS and Android platforms and connected IoT devices.
• Analyze test results and support continuous improvement of software quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Software Testing, QA, or Software Quality Assurance.
• Good understanding of SDLC/STLC, test case creation, and defect management.
• Basic knowledge of Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar programming languages.
• Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, Selenium, Appium, or Postman is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database querying.
• Experience in IoT, mobile applications, or connected devices is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Good command of English is preferred.
