• Develop and manage the project plan for each phase
• Assign team resources, define and maintain the project contract for each phase
• Develop and manage overall project cost across different functional areas
• Update and revise project plan and budget plan to team when project milestones due date changed Project Execution

• Manage function resources to execute project to success
• Track slippage from project plan and develop contingency plans for addressing slippage
• Documentation on time for POs, Quotations, customer requirements and so on
• Act as communication hub of internal team, update project status, actions and issues to functional groups, resolve day-to-day issues, publish meeting minutes and action items
• Have good communication ability with customer, can address customer concern/requirements promptly
• Reinforce project team’s adherence to PLC process, provide mentorship to new members of the project team
• Follow NPD procedure and trace gate deliverables for each gate
• Yield control and improve on Beta, Pilot build
• Lead NPI team to completed Pilot build and ramp up Risk Management
• 10%
• Identify and manage critical path, potential risks and specific mitigation plans to address project risks
• Develop Risk Analysis summaries and create Lesson

Learnt document Project Reporting

• 10%
• Prepare/update project status review slides and present to management team periodically, weekly base update is necessary
• Prepare/present Gate/Phase Reviews slides and related files to executive team

Materials and Delivery Management

• 20%
• Manage alpha and beta materials by Excel, place order of purchase materials, trace materials delivery and incoming.
• Manage logistics and communications for interactions across extended function teams and vendors, follow up the materials on time delivery
• Manage the BOM cost and in charge of cost reduction in each phase.
• Work with function engineers to introduce new materials or new vendors into plant APL(approved parts list and approved vendors list) each part or each vendor
• Delivery plan/schedule publish to team, follow up delivery status, address delivery delay and make recover actions
• Identify and manage critical path, potential risks and specific mitigation plans to address project risks 任职资格
• BS/MS in engineering or physics or other equivalent,
• MBA or PMP preferred
• 5+ years of project management experience in a global company
• Work experience in optical communication industry preferred
• Excellent English communication skills
• Excellent skill with Microsoft Project
• Knowledge of engineering theory and optical subsystems design criteria preferred.
• Ability to prepare and present concise plans, reports and other project documents.
• Exhibits effective listening, influencing, and negotiating skills.
• Strong project management and facilitation skills.
• Understand multi-national cultures, able to lead and coordinate engineering teams in different global sites.
• Must be a task oriented master to lead the project team as the focal point to achieve critical milestones, cost targets and product requirements.
• Knowledge of optical components, product process.
