R&D Executive

The R&D Executive is responsible for supporting and carrying out the Company’s product and raw material research, formulation development, sample preparation, testing, documentation, and raw material improvement activities. The main role is to develop new products, improve existing formulations, maintain product quality standards, and ensure proper documentation throughout the R&D process.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct product and raw material research to support new product development and improvement of existing products.
• Develop and improve product formulations based on product requirements, quality standards, cost considerations, and market needs.
• Conduct market and competitor research to identify product trends, opportunities, and potential improvements.
• Carry out product trials, formulation testing, stability studies, and sample preparation to ensure products meet the required quality and performance standards.
• Maintain proper records of R&D activities, formulation details, product specifications, trial results, and other relevant documentation.
• Keep updated on food industry innovations, ingredients, technologies, product developments, and market trends.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in R&D, food product development, seafood processing technologies, food safety standards and quality assurance protocols.
• Good understanding on HACCP, Halal, ISO and other food-related regulations requirements
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple R&D activities effectively.
• Willing to participate in hands-on product trials, testing, and production activities.
• Able to communicate in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and/or Mandarin will be an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates with strong interest in R&D and food product development may also be considered.
