R&D Executive / Management Trainee – Application R&D

Job Summary

We are looking for an R&D Executive / Management Trainee – Application R&D to join our R&D team. The role involves developing customer-specific samples and prototypes, formulation development, product testing, raw material evaluation, stability-related activities, and maintaining R&D documentation.

This opportunity is suitable for freshers with a chemistry background as well as candidates with 1–3 years of Application R&D/ Product Development experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare samples and prototypes as per project and customer requirements.
• Follow specified formulations, procedures and development guidelines accurately.
• Conduct pre-testing of samples and prototypes against planned specifications.
• Modify and refine formulations based on testing results and technical feedback.
• Conduct stability-related activities and maintain samples and relevant data.
• Perform analytical testing of final products/projects and accurately record results.
• Test and evaluate raw materials and prepare reports within defined timelines.
• Maintain retained samples of developed/submitted prototypes.
• Maintain formulation sheets, test records, costing and other R&D documentation.
• Update R&D MIS and project status regularly.
• Participate in internal R&D meetings and contribute to new product concepts.
• Coordinate with the Manager/HOD – R&D regarding project requirements and development progress.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned R&D projects and activities.

Candidate Educational Qualification

• M.Sc. Chemistry – Preferred
• B.Sc. Chemistry – Can be considered for Management Trainee/Fresher positions

Experience

• Management Trainee: Freshers with a relevant chemistry background can apply.
• R&D Executive: 1–3 years of experience in application R&D/product development, preferably in Chemical, Specialty Chemicals or Personal Care industries.
