R&D Hardware Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and simulate analog/digital circuits and create PCB schematics/layouts.
• Build, solder, and troubleshoot prototype circuits.
• Assist in preparing test jigs and documentation for production handover.
• Support BOM creation, documentation, and sourcing discussions.
• Conduct tests using standard lab equipment to verify hardware performance.
• Ensure accurate documentation and version control for design files.
• Working closely with engineers to create 3D models of circuit boards.
• Stay updated on the latest PCB design tools, technologies, and industry trends.
• Circuit drawing/design by Altium
• PCB layout using Altium
• Proficient in using Altium (advance)

Qualifications:

Essential

• A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
• 4-6 years of experience in schematic design and PCB layout.
• Proficiency in Altium Designer for PCB design or any related PCB designer tools.
• Solid understanding of electronic components and circuit design principles.
• Experience in designing multi-layer PCBs for automotive or similar industries.
• Familiarity with design for manufacturability (DFM) processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred

• Knowledge of automotive industry standards (e.g., ISO 26262, ISO16949, EMC/EMI, IATF process IPC).
• Experience with thermal and mechanical considerations in PCB design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
