R&D IT Business Analyst

End-to-end collection, clarification and structuring of local R&D business requirements; delivery of high-level process maps and system solution blueprints; driving prioritization and translating pain points into track-able digital product features. Must demonstrate outstanding bilingual communication and influencing skills, quickly build trust in a multi-cultural (especially European) environment and shepherd requirements from concept to go-live. Responsibilities: Elicit and document business pain points and requirements from all R&D domains (design, simulation, testing, programme management) via interviews, workshops, shadowing, etc. Convert fragmented needs into standard User Stories / Use Cases; create BPMN process flows and information-exchange diagrams with full traceability. Evaluate value and feasibility; maintain requirement backlog; define prioritization & iteration roadmap together with Product Owner. Lead requirement reviews; align global IT, local R&D, Compliance, InfoSec and other stakeholders;obtain sign-off on SRS. Track development, test and UAT phases; perform impact analysis for changes; update process docs to ensure zero gap between business expectation and system behaviour. Build and continuously improve requirement standards, templates and knowledge base to raise quality and throughput. Organise bi-lingual workshops; present background, business value and technical options to European headquarters in English. Scan industry digital trends (MBSE, cloud-native, low-code, RPA, etc.) and proactively propose innovative scenarios to digitalize, automate and smarten R&D processes. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or above; Computer Science, Automotive or Industrial Engineering preferred. 5+ years BA / digital-transformation experience in automotive or manufacturing; at least one full-cycle requirement-to-go-live project on PLM/CAD/MBSE or major R&D systems. Prior experience in European multinational or global project environment; familiar with matrix organisations. Ability to communicate and collaborate across teams, with experience in technical leadership roles. Experience in establishing, writing, outputting, and organizing technical documentation standards and tracking. Familiarity with industrial manufacturing or related upstream and downstream industry work experience is preferred. Proficient in BPMN, UML, Visio, ARIS or similar modelling tools; able to map business processes to system functions independently. Hands-on with requirement tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, DOORS, etc.) and Agile / SAFe methodologies. Solid understanding of vehicle development processes (GVDP/APQP), configuration management, BOM structures, change & test management. Excellent written & verbal communication in English and Chinese; English must be usable as working language with European executives. Strong cross-cultural skills—quickly “win friends and influence people” both inside and outside the company to drive consensus. Digital-transformation mindset with acute insight into data-driven decisions, process automation and user experience. Self-driven, able to multi-task across several requirement streams under pressure while maintaining quality. Advanced user of Office 365, Miro, SharePoint, Teams, etc.Possesses good logical and analytical thinking abilities. Full of innovation and curiosity about new technologies, and able to personally get hands-on experience. Thinks in a user and user experience-oriented manner. Good team collaboration skills, willing to guide team members to grow together.
