R&D Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Plan and execute field varietal trials to evaluate hybrid performance, adaptability, and yield potential
• Conduct bunch analysis and implement strategies to improve Oil Extraction Rate (OER)
• Lead productivity improvement initiatives through data-driven agronomic practices
• Develop and implement nutrition management programs to ensure optimal crop health and yield
• Analyze field data and provide actionable insights to improve plantation efficiency
• Design and deliver technical training programs for field staff to enhance operational capabilities
• Conduct farmer training and extension activities to promote best agronomic practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement R&D findings at the field level
• Monitor industry trends, innovations, and new technologies in oil palm cultivation
• Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations on R&D activities and outcomes

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture.
• Assame Languge is Mandotiry
