R&D Staff

About the role

We are seeking an experienced R&D Staff to join our team at PT Mata Pelangi Chemindo' in Tangerang. As an R&D Staff, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's research and development initiatives, contributing to the innovation and advancement of our products. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment and contribute to the growth of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Maintenance of existing products and sustainability improvements are within the scope of responsibility.
• This position provides technical support, data, and information for specific projects by conducting experiments or tests to generate data.
• This role supports projects by performing laboratory work to improve product performance, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues.
• This position acts as a resource to other employees technically and in project management.
• This role provides team support by encouraging collaboration and providing suggestions/resources to overcome obstacles.
• This role involves the appropriate selection of raw materials, dispersion making and testing, data analysis, and application of dispersion formulation/knowledge to product specifications and performance requirements as defined by the appropriate stakeholder.
• This role handles and resolves product complaints from customers, especially related to product quality.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor or advanced degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related scientific field
• Strong knowledge of coatings, paint, & ink chemistry, including understanding of resin, pigments, solvents, additives
• Basic MS Office (PPT, Excel, Words) Skills for reporting & Reporting using Canva is a plus point
• Master of color and shade matching
• Have experience in pigment dispersion development is a plus
• Familiar with Color Matching Machine and database such as from Data Color is a plus
• Ability to complete individual work and or Team Work on simple projects with no direction.
