Raw Material Resourcing Specialist

Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Textile/ colour Engineering

• At least 3-5 years relevant working experience in textile material sourcing, development or quality control.

• Knowledge working with Indonesian RM and vendors will be an added advantage

• High level of technical skills with knowledge of yarn spinning, knitting, dyeing and finishing. Thorough understanding of fabrics and elastics production quality standards

• Fluent English in written and spoken is a must

• Strong negotiation, project management, and documentation skills

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills , energetic, attention to details, and well organized.

• Strong proficiency in MS Windows based software (Excel, Word, Access, Powerpoint)

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Analyze reference samples: identify fibre composition, construction, finish, and performance specs.
• Brief technical requirements to RM /vendors for requalification of materials.
• Research and evaluate alternative raw material suppliers for cost-effective duplication.
• Prepare detailed specification sheets, technical comparisons.
• Coordinate with 3rd party lab to conduct physical and function tests, and compare results against original quality.
• Be able to collaborate with Regional (Australia) RM team and supplier/vendor to ensure the duplication quality can be submitted on time and meet the original requirements.
• Involve /lead in supplier capability development projects.
