Raw Material Specification Specialist

• Specification Creation & Maintenance

  • Develop, review, and maintain food ingredient specifications and supplier information in SAP PLM.
  • Accurately maintain key information, including supplier/manufacturer details, country of origin, religious and dietary requirements, physical, chemical and microbiological specifications, contaminants, allergens, and nutritional information by location.
  • Ensure specifications are updated and maintained accurately in the SAP PLM system.

• Data Management

  • Maintain data accuracy, quality, and consistency within the SAP PLM system.
  • Review and verify specification and material data to ensure completeness and accuracy.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with suppliers and internal teams, including R&D, Quality, Procurement, and Manufacturing, to gather and validate specification data.
  • Verify the correct use of material codes and specifications according to location and business requirements.

• Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure product and ingredient specifications comply with relevant regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Review specification data to ensure compliance with applicable food safety and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements:

• Min Diploma in Food Science, Chemistry or other relevant field

• Min 3 years experience working in Food Science field

• Experience using SAP PLM system is highly preferred

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) applications
