Opportunity for a School-Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Rochester, NH!

Reach Higher ABA is seeking a compassionate, motivated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing team in Rochester, NH. We are an ABA company built on strong clinical values, collaboration, and high-quality care. In this role, you will work one-on-one with students in a school setting, helping them develop communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

RBT Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA support to students in a school setting.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention and treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Help students develop communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills.
• Support classroom participation, daily routines, and transitions.
• Use positive reinforcement and approved behavior strategies to encourage learning and appropriate behaviors.
• Collect and record behavioral data and session notes accurately in CentralReach.
• Communicate with BCBAs, teachers, school staff, and other team members regarding student progress.
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment.
• Follow clinical guidelines, confidentiality requirements, and ethical standards.
• Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development.

Compensation and Schedule

• Pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour.
• Hours: Approximately 37 hours per week.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, during school-day hours.
• Location: Rochester, NH.
• Setting: School-based ABA services.

Skills and Qualifications

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred or required, depending on hiring needs.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children, individuals with autism, or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Understanding of ABA principles and behavior support strategies preferred.
• Strong communication, patience, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow individualized treatment plans and accurately document student progress.
• CentralReach experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet applicable school-setting requirements.
