RDA/ Lead Dental Assistant

Brazos Kids Dental is seeking a fun, motivated, and dedicated Lead Dental Assistant to join our team. As a lead dental assistant, you perform a wide range of tasks like providing patient care, taking X-rays, recordkeeping, and scheduling appointments.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and State Dental Board regulations.
• Responsible for the professional and clinical development of clinical team members.
• Assists the doctor during a variety of treatments, exams, and procedures.
• Cleans and sterilizes instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
• Direct doctor accordingly to maximize schedule efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Maintains a smooth patient workflow with the front office staff and clinical teams to promote timely and exceptional patient experience visits.
• Maintain clinical supplies and inventory.
• Responsible for the maintenance of emergency kits and first aid supplies in the office to ensure that they are stocked properly and up to date.
• Participate in monthly Team meetings.
• Assist in safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with other office duties requested or needed.

Requirements:

• Active Registered Dental Assistant License.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RDA in a dental practice.
