RDK-B Security Engineer Lead

Key Skills: Linux, PKI, Security, TLS, Embedded C, SSL, RDKB, Yocto

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain security features for RDK-based devices.
• Develop embedded security components covering certificate management, authentication, authorization, secure firmware upgrades, and device identity.
• Analyze security vulnerabilities and CVEs, determine product impact, and drive remediation through closure.
• Perform security-focused code reviews and promote secure coding practices across embedded software development.
• Support penetration testing, security assessments, compliance activities, and investigation of security defects.

Skills Required:

• 5 - 9 years of relevant experience in embedded security, embedded Linux, or connected-device software development.
• Strong experience developing embedded software using Embedded C on Linux platforms.
• Practical understanding of RDK-B architecture and security integration within broadband devices.
• Hands-on experience with PKI, SSL/TLS, certificates, cryptographic services, and key management.
• Ability to troubleshoot device security issues, assess vulnerabilities, and implement secure software solutions.

Good to Have:

• Experience with Yocto-based embedded Linux development.

Education: B.E., B.Tech, M.Tech, M.E., BCA, B.Sc., or M.Sc. in Electrical, Electronics, Communications, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
