React Native Developer

Startizta is a marketplace connecting independent artists with the brands and sponsors who should be working with them. We're looking for a React Native developer to take real ownership of the app, on the app side specifically, and build it into something artists and sponsors reach for daily.

You'll own the React Native app end to end, across iOS and Android, working closely with a React-based team so the app and backend speak the same language.

What the work actually looks like:

• Building and maintaining the React Native app across iOS and Android
• Shipping to the App Store and Play Store, and handling everything that comes with real releases: builds, versioning, store guidelines, review cycles
• Wiring up APIs and working closely with the backend team
• Making sure the app performs well on real devices, not just the simulator
• Debugging production issues fast, and owning fixes through to release
• Being in sprint planning and release calls, shaping decisions rather than just receiving them

What you need to bring:

• 4-6 years of hands-on React Native experience, specifically on the app side
• Real, proven experience shipping apps to both the App Store and Play Store, start to finish
• Strong grasp of native modules, performance optimization, and cross-platform quirks
• Comfort with state management, navigation, and architecture decisions
• Solid Git and CI/CD fundamentals
• Bonus: experience with Firebase, push notifications, payment integrations, or real-time features

What we're actually looking for: someone who has genuinely shipped apps before, not just built features inside someone else's codebase. Someone comfortable making architectural calls and living with them later. If you want to be the person who can say "I built that app," this is that role.
