React Native Developer

React Native Developer will build secure, scalable, and high-performance mobile applications across Android and iOS.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with React Native, TypeScript, API integrations, native mobile capabilities, performance optimization, and modern mobile development practices. The role involves working closely with Product, Design, Backend, and QA teams to deliver reliable, production-grade applications.

Experience with fintech, banking, payments, lending, or transaction-heavy applications will be a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

1. React Native Development

• Develop and maintain high-quality cross-platform applications using React Native and TypeScript.
• Build reusable, responsive, and scalable mobile components and application architecture.
• Translate product requirements and Figma designs into production-ready mobile experiences.
• Apply modern React and React Native patterns, including hooks, component composition, and efficient state management.
• Work with React Native New Architecture, Hermes, Fabric/TurboModules, and native modules where required.

2. APIs, State & Integrations

• Integrate REST APIs, backend services, and third-party SDKs.
• Manage complex application state using modern solutions such as Redux Toolkit, Zustand, TanStack Query, or equivalent.
• Implement authentication, deep linking, push notifications, analytics, file/camera access, biometrics, and other native capabilities.
• Handle offline states, API failures, retries, caching, and unreliable network conditions effectively.

3. Performance, Security & Reliability

• Optimize application startup time, rendering, memory usage, network calls, and overall performance.
• Debug and resolve crashes, performance bottlenecks, UI issues, and platform-specific problems.
• Follow secure mobile development practices for authentication, token management, local storage, encryption, and sensitive user data.
• Implement monitoring and crash reporting using tools such as Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry, or equivalent.
• Maintain compatibility across supported Android/iOS versions and device configurations.

4. Testing, Releases & DevOps

• Write testable, maintainable code and implement unit, integration, and UI testing where appropriate.
• Work with tools such as Jest, React Native Testing Library, Maestro/Detox, or equivalent.
• Support Google Play Store and Apple App Store releases, signing, versioning, and deployment.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines, Git, GitHub/GitLab Actions, Fastlane, Expo EAS, or similar tooling.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain engineering standards across the mobile codebase.

5. AI-Assisted Development

• Effectively use modern AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, ChatGPT, or equivalent for coding, debugging, testing, documentation, and refactoring.
• Use AI-assisted workflows responsibly while maintaining code quality, security, and engineering judgment.
• Stay updated with developments across the React Native and AI-assisted software development ecosystem.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong proficiency in React Native, React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of React Native architecture and mobile application lifecycle.
• Experience with REST APIs, state management, caching, authentication, and third-party SDK integrations.
• Understanding of Android and iOS native concepts, with Kotlin/Swift knowledge considered a plus.
• Experience with performance optimization, debugging, and crash analysis.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, Firebase/Sentry, and App Store/Play Store deployment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively with Product, Design, Backend, and QA teams.

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of professional mobile development experience, with strong hands-on React Native experience.
• Proven experience shipping and maintaining production applications on Android and iOS.
• Strong understanding of scalable mobile architecture and modern development practices.
• Experience in fintech, banking, payments, lending, digital wallets, e-commerce, or other transaction-heavy platforms will be a strong advantage.
• Experience building secure flows involving KYC, authentication, payments, financial transactions, biometrics, or sensitive customer data will be considered a plus.
