React Native Developer Intern

We are seeking a React Native Developer Intern who is eager to gain practical experience in building, testing, debugging, and maintaining mobile applications. The intern will work with the development team on real-world mobile application projects and will have the opportunity to develop practical skills in React Native and related technologies.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of React Native
• Basic understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) or TypeScript
• Understanding of React concepts and Hooks
• Familiarity with Android Studio
• Basic understanding of Gradle
• Basic understanding of app and project-level build.gradle
• Understanding of versioning, signing configurations, and build variants is a plus
• Basic knowledge of generating APK and AAB files (debug and release)
• Basic understanding of Google Play Store deployment
• Familiarity with app signing and Play Console is a plus
• Basic understanding of store listings, screenshots, and app updates
• Experience or learning exposure to RESTful APIs using Axios / Fetch
• Basic knowledge of state management such as Redux / Context API
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to learn testing and performance optimization
• Basic experience with Git / GitHub
• Ability to learn independently and complete assigned tasks within deadlines
• Assist in integrating APIs and backend services
• Assist in fixing bugs and improving application performance
• Maintain clean code and basic documentation

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining mobile applications using React Native.
• Work with the development team to implement new features and improvements.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Assist in debugging and resolving application issues.
• Test applications and identify bugs and performance issues.
• Learn and work with Android Studio and Gradle.
• Assist in generating APK and AAB builds for testing and release.
• Assist with application versioning and signing configurations.
• Gain practical exposure to Google Play Console and app deployment.
• Follow coding standards and maintain code quality.
• Use Git/GitHub for source-code management.
• Maintain basic technical documentation for assigned tasks.
• Perform other development-related tasks assigned by the senior developer or management.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates and students with basic React Native knowledge are encouraged to apply.
• Strong interest in mobile application development and willingness to learn.

Preferred / Plus

• Basic knowledge of Firebase, including Authentication, Push Notifications, or Crashlytics
• Familiarity with Google Play Console
• Knowledge of app signing and Play Store deployment
• Any previously developed React Native or mobile application
• Published mobile applications on the Google Play Store
• Basic understanding of CI/CD for mobile applications
• Familiarity with handling Play Store policies and app submission requirements
