The Role

As a React / Node.js Full Stack Technical Lead , you will lead the design, development and delivery of modern digital platforms and customer-facing applications. You will work directly with stakeholders, proactively resolve delivery and production challenges, and architect scalable solutions across React user interfaces, Node.js backend services and Java microservices. The role combines hands-on engineering, solution architecture, technical leadership and delivery ownership within a banking and financial services environment.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of enterprise web applications using React, Node.js, microservices, and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with business and product stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technology solutions.
• Develop responsive, accessible, and user-centric front-end applications using modern React frameworks and UI/UX best practices.
• Build secure, high-performance backend services and REST APIs using Node.js/NestJS and Java Spring Boot.
• Design event-driven integrations using Kafka and implement data solutions with MongoDB.
• Define technical standards, reusable components, and best engineering practices across teams.
• Drive quality through automated testing, code reviews, and continuous integration practices.
• Champion DevOps, CI/CD, security, observability, and production readiness initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and support Agile delivery teams to achieve business outcomes.

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in full-stack application development and technical leadership.
• Strong expertise in React for modern, responsive, and scalable front-end development.
• Proven experience in Node.js backend development; NestJS experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience building Java microservices using Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, integration patterns, and scalable application design.
• Experience with MongoDB database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Practical experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and secure software development practices.
• Strong stakeholder management, solution architecture, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:

• Experience with NestJS, TypeScript, and enterprise-grade Node.js development.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of web accessibility, design systems, observability, and application performance optimization.
• Experience with automated testing across frontend, API, and integration layers.
• Exposure to banking or financial services technology environments.
• Experience leading distributed Agile teams and contributing to architecture and engineering governance.
