Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and motivated React Developer with 25 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs, along with a good understanding of modern front-end development practices, React testing, and UAT testing.Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance responsive web applications using React.
- Build reusable, scalable, and high-performance UI components.
- Work closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and product teams.
- Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Implement forms, validations, routing, authentication, and authorisation.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following coding standards and best practices.
- Identify and resolve performance, usability, and application issues.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards.
- Write unit and integration tests using tools like Jest and React Testing Library to ensure application quality.
- Support and actively participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) cycles, including issue triage and quick turnaround fixes.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely fixes.
- Stay up to date with React versions, front-end technologies, and industry best practices.
- Required Skills
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in React development.
- Strong knowledge of React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with React components (functional/class), hooks, state management, and routing (React Router).
- Good understanding of state management libraries (Redux/Context API/Recoil or similar).
- Hands-on experience with React testing tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Enzyme.
- Experience working with REST APIs and JSON.
- Knowledge of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with Git/version control systems.
- Exposure to UAT testing processes and coordinating with QA/business teams for issue resolution.
- Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with browser developer tools and debugging techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
