Essential Requirements

• Previous experience in reactive property maintenance is essential.
• Proven experience and practical knowledge across multiple maintenance trades.
• Must have their own tools and equipment suitable for carrying out a wide range of property repairs.
• Must hold valid Public Liability Insurance.
• Full, clean UK driving licence is essential.
• Ability to diagnose faults and identify appropriate repair solutions.
• Ability to prepare accurate quotations for works required.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet to manage daily jobs.
• Reliable, punctual and professional appearance and attitude.
• Previous experience working on behalf of letting agents, landlords or property maintenance companies would be an advantage.

Job Allocation and Reporting

All daily jobs are allocated through our Tradify job management system.

Engineers will be able to view their allocated jobs, customer details, site addresses and work instructions.

Following each visit, engineers will be expected to update the system with details of works completed, photographs, findings and any quotations required.

Full training on the Tradify system will be provided.

Company Vehicle

The provision of a company van may be considered for the right candidate, subject to discussion during the recruitment process.

A full, clean UK driving licence is essential.

Working Area

Our office is based in Kemsing, Kent, TN15, although we cover a large geographical area throughout London and the South East.

Applicants must be willing to travel to various properties as required.

You must be comfortable dealing directly with customers, diagnosing problems and making sensible decisions on site.

This position would suit an experienced multi-trade maintenance engineer who enjoys varied work and can confidently manage different types of property repairs.
