REACTIVE PLUMBING ENGINEER

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Reactive Plumbing Engineer to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across commercial and industrial sites. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing issues are swiftly addressed, minimizing downtime and maintaining operational efficiency. Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to plumbing emergencies and reactive maintenance requests across multiple sites.
• Diagnose plumbing issues using mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills to identify root causes efficiently.
• Repair or replace damaged pipes, fixtures, valves, pumps, and other plumbing components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills.
• Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to prevent future failures and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Utilize basic math for measurements, calculations, and system assessments during repairs or installations.
• Operate heavy lifting equipment safely when handling large pipes or equipment components.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system conditions for reporting and compliance purposes.

Experience

• Proven experience in reactive plumbing maintenance within commercial or industrial environments.
• Skilled in welding, use of hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques related to plumbing systems.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex plumbing issues effectively.
• Familiarity with carpentry and basic math for precise measurements and system calculations.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of installation or repair tasks.
• Valid commercial driving license preferred for site access or equipment transportation.
• Experience working with plumbing components such as pipes, fittings, fixtures, pumps, valves, and related systems.
