We are in need of a FULL-TIME READING REMEDIATION TEACHER who will join us in empowering young learners and making reading a meaningful and enjoyable experience.

As a Reading Remediation Teacher, you ensure that students read, learn, and write by understanding the student's present literacy skills, and providing appropriate instruction (strategies and activities) when assisting a student with difficulty.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepares and updates lesson plans for each student
• Provides direct instruction to determine the most effective instructional strategies and materials
• Prepares a progress report for each student who has attended thirty (30) reading remediation sessions and monthly feedback for each student who has attended literacy skills development programs
• Consult and collaborate with the Center Director, Center Head, Case Manager, and other professionals concerned
• Attends weekly teacher meeting
• Assists with program matters

Job Qualifications

• Graduate of Education, Psychology, or a related field
• Patient, passionate, and committed to helping children succeed
• With good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in teaching reading or working with children with learning difficulties is an advantage
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Willing to undergo training for a month
