Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Reading Cluster Teacher to join our educational team. This role is vital in fostering literacy development and providing targeted academic support to students across various grade levels. Duties

• Develop and implement engaging literacy curricula tailored to individual student needs, including early childhood and preschool education programs
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to design effective lesson plans that incorporate best practices in literacy education, math integration, and instructional technology
• Conduct assessments to identify student strengths and areas for growth, adjusting instructional approaches accordingly
• Manage classroom environments effectively through classroom management techniques while promoting positive behavior and conflict resolution
• Incorporate diverse teaching methods such as Montessori or other specialized approaches to enhance childhood development and learning outcomes
• Engage in ongoing professional development related to special education, learning technology, curriculum development, and teaching physical education or library services as needed
• Work on Phonics with each class covered.

Qualifications

• NYS Certification
• Proven classroom experience across early childhood through elementary levels with a focus on literacy instruction
• Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, instructional design, and assessment strategies
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with colleagues, families, and students effectively
• Demonstrated ability in classroom management, behavior management techniques, and conflict resolution
• Skills in working with children of varying developmental stages including toddlers and preschoolers
• Ability to adapt instruction using learning technology tools to meet individual student needs
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that supports academic advising and holistic childhood development

Pay: $72,000.00 - $88,000.00 per year
