FREE Training Provided

You will learn how to:

• Create clear and structured academic notes
• Identify and record key information from lectures and seminars
• Format notes professionally
• Provide effective note-taking support to disabled students

Important Requirements

All note-taking work is completed in person at the university.

You must be able to travel to University of Reading and attend lectures, seminars, workshops or other sessions according to the student's timetable.

You must have your own reliable laptop suitable for professional note-taking.

Please note: work is offered according to students' timetable and support requirements, not your preferred availability. However, you can tell us your preferred days, and you may also choose to be placed on our bank staff list for future opportunities.

• Be able to write clear, accurate and well-structured notes
• Have your own reliable laptop
• Be professional, dependable and organised
• Be able to attend support sessions in person
