Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Ready Mix Concrete Driver to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will operate commercial trucks equipped with concrete mixers, delivering high-quality concrete to various civil infrastructure projects. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation, adherence to safety regulations, and knowledge of construction materials will ensure smooth and efficient deliveries. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to large-scale paving and infrastructure development while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles, including concrete mixers and other paving equipment, following DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety protocols.
• Deliver ready-mix concrete to construction sites accurately and on schedule, ensuring the quality of materials during transit.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on trucks and paving equipment, including mechanical inspections and minor repairs to ensure optimal operation.
• Assist with the setup and operation of paving equipment such as screeds, loaders, and concrete pumping systems on-site.
• Adhere strictly to safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation, asphalt paving, concrete handling, and site safety procedures.
• Collaborate with project managers and construction crews to coordinate delivery schedules and site requirements.
• Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, vehicle inspections, maintenance activities, and compliance with DOT regulations.

Experience

• Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on construction materials or heavy equipment operation.
• Knowledge of construction machinery maintenance, paving equipment operation, and asphalt or concrete materials.
• Familiarity with safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation, concrete pumping, screeds, and asphalt paving.
• Basic math skills for measuring quantities and calculating loads accurately.
• Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor issues with trucks or paving machinery.
• Experience working on construction projects within civil infrastructure roles is highly desirable.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record is required.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
