This is a unique opportunity to represent an exclusive portfolio of island properties, from luxury waterfront residences to premium holiday homes and apartments, in one of Australia's most sought-after destinations. You'll build strong relationships with property owners, identify new sales opportunities and guide buyers and sellers through a seamless property journey while delivering exceptional service and results.

Why you’ll love working with us

Working closely with the Real Estate Administrator and key stakeholders, you'll provide professional market advice, maintain strong vendor relationships and deliver outstanding sales outcomes while positioning Hamilton Island Real Estate as the preferred choice for property sales on the island.

Where you’ll make an impact

  • Build strong relationships with property owners and the Hamilton Island community
  • Identify and secure new property listings through proactive prospecting
  • Prepare property appraisals and Comparative Market Analyses with administrative support
  • Ensure Form 6 agreements and listing documentation are completed accurately
  • Develop and coordinate effective property marketing campaigns
  • Maintain accurate property listings, pricing and online advertising
  • Conduct property inspections and Open for Inspections for prospective buyers
  • Provide timely feedback and market insights to vendors
  • Prepare and review vendor activity and market reports
  • Negotiate property sales to achieve strong outcomes for clients
  • Liaise with solicitors, building inspectors, valuers and financial institutions
  • Manage communication with buyers, vendors and stakeholders throughout the sales process
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism, confidentiality and regulatory compliance

What we’re looking for

You are a confident and commercially minded real estate professional with a proven ability to build relationships, identify opportunities and deliver exceptional sales results. You combine strong negotiation skills with genuine customer care, excellent market awareness and a professional approach. You're proactive, organised and passionate about representing premium properties while delivering the best possible outcomes for your clients.

Note: We are planning to start this position in January 2027

To be successful, you will need:

  • Queensland Real Estate Registration Certificate (Essential)
  • Driver Licence with the ability to drive on Queensland roads (Essential)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in real estate or a similar sales position (Essential)
  • Property Occupations Act Certificate (Essential)

  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of real estate sales processes
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
  • Immaculate personal presentation and professional approach
  • Strong understanding of property marketing and vendor management
  • Ability to manage multiple listings, clients and priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • High level of discretion and ability to manage confidential information
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to achieving results
