Real Estate Attorney

An established law firm is seeking a Real Estate Attorney to join its Sarasota office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to build a career focused on real estate transactional work, particularly for candidates with experience handling real estate closings.

The firm is open to new graduates and less-experienced attorneys with strong real estate transactional exposure. Candidates with approximately 2-6 years of experience are preferred, while candidates with more experience may fall outside the firm's salary range.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle residential and/or commercial real estate transactions and closings.
• Draft, review, and prepare real estate transaction documents.
• Conduct due diligence and coordinate with clients, lenders, title companies, and other professionals.
• Communicate directly with clients and assist with transaction-related matters.
• Manage transactions efficiently while meeting deadlines.
• Build and maintain strong client and professional relationships.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Florida Bar admission or willingness to obtain admission.
• Candidates with 2-6 years of experience preferred; new graduates will also be considered.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional, detail-oriented, and client-focused.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Portable book of business is a plus, but not required.

Work Environment The position is primarily in-office in Sarasota. Remote access may be available for emergency situations, but the firm prefers attorneys to work onsite.
