Real Estate Development Manager

For our client, we are seeking a Real Estate Development Manager to join the team of a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space.

This role will lead market expansion initiatives and oversee a portfolio of development projects from opportunity identification through closing and execution. The position will partner closely with internal stakeholders and external parties to evaluate sites, assess feasibility, and move projects forward in support of growth objectives. Success in this role will require a strong command of real estate transactions, entitlement processes, and project coordination across multiple priorities.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute market growth strategies to identify expansion opportunities
• Conduct market research and demographic analysis for prospective development projects
• Negotiate real estate contracts and manage transactions from pursuit to closing
• Lead due diligence activities, including environmental and feasibility assessments
• Manage a portfolio of development projects, ensuring timely execution and reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, Urban Planning, Construction Management, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate or retail development
• Strong knowledge of real estate transactions and due diligence processes
• Familiarity with zoning, land use regulations, and entitlement processes
• Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
